Jersey Goldsmiths Package

• 30-45 mins
• Groups of  approx 20

Here we will give you an insight into the multifaceted “World of Gold”. We will include information about how Gold came to prominence and when it was first used 4,000 years B.C. Information on gold mining and the role of gold in countries economics. View the largest gold nugget ever discovered and the reason we keep ‘Goldie’ the red kneed tarantula. Finally, we will have an interactive discussion about the different precious gems you encounter in any Jewellery showroom.

Diamondology Package

• 45 mins – 1hour
• Small party 4-6 Large party 8-20

You will be lead through the diamond world by our in-house diamond grading experts, with the overall aim to introduce people to the modern diamond business and how it is likely to look in the future. Learn all about the 4 C’s and be taken back to the beginning of a diamonds life to explain it’s value and allure.
The larger groups will be split into teams to complete a variety of diamond grading challenges.

Quicksilver

• 2 hours
• 12 spaces at each sitting

This is a Metal Clay Studio where anyone can bring a shell or special design to create themselves in clay which then turns to silver. The process to create a silver memory can take up to 2 hours with supervision from Glyn Mitchell a professional instructor.
Lunch or Afternoon Tea will be served in Café Gold or on our floral patio.

A leisurely walk down to the Lion Park Gardens is a must, home to our Flamingos, huge Koi Carp, Ducks and Red Squirrels.
